Maisie Winifred Viera was born on January 16, 1926, and passed away peacefully at 89 years of age in her home, surrounded by her loving family and friends on January 11, 2016. Maisie was born in Anguilla, BWI, and moved to Nantucket in the early 1950’s. It was there that she met the love of her life, the late Leroy Viera, Sr. She later moved to Hyannis, MA, to be closer to her children. Maisie is survived by her four children, Laura Viera, Lawrence and Lewis Viera, of Hyannis, and Leroy Viera, Jr. of Tacoma, WA. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren: Ebony Kenlyn, Alex and Kyle Richardson, Jarrell Wynns, Kiana, Shealynn, Jaedon, Makayah, Lexis, Jaxon and Lukis Viera; three great-grandchildren: Denisa and Deion McCoy and Jerome Kenlyn, Jr.; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends too numerous to mention.

Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday,
February 6, 2016, at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, The Valley, Anguilla. Viewing and Tributes will be from 2:15 p.m.to 3:00 p.m.
