Department of Environment’s ANEA Logo Winner
The Department of Environment congratulates Ms Tamara Richardson on winning the Anguilla’s National Ecosystem Assessment (ANEA) Logo Design Competition. This logo is the official logo for the ANEA project.
Ms Richardson’s logo reflects Anguilla’s national colours turquoise, orange and white. The trees, dolphin and coral reef symbolize the focus of the ANEA which is to place value on ecosystems in Anguilla. The sketch of Anguilla demonstrates that Anguilla and its citizens will be the primary beneficiaries of this project and will therefore be involved at every stage of the project’s development and execution. The acronym for the project is situated within the shield of the Anguilla Coat of Arms. This symbolizes the project’s fundamental importance and alignment with ensuring strength, unity and endurance as a nation. These elements are cushioned within an outer circle which houses the name of the project and signifies the continuity that is anticipated to achieve the project’s ultimate outcome of sustainable growth.
The Anguilla National Ecosystem Assessment Project is a Darwin funded project which will increase awareness about ecosystems in Anguilla and provide options to achieve sustainable growth. We would like to thank Ms Tamara Richardson and all the participants and facilitators who assisted in making the competition successful.
