68 YEAR OLD ON BAIL FOR MISAPPROPRIATION OF FUNDS AND DECEPTION

The Royal Anguilla Police Force, Financial Investigation Unit, FIU on Tuesday 12th January 2016 arrested and charged a 68 years old male from Little Harbour with 9 counts of misappropriation of funds and 1 count of deception.
The offender was arrested as a result of an investigation into a report of theft that was made to the RAPF stemming from an incident which occurred in September of 2013.
On Wednesday 13th January, 2016 the offender appeared before the Magistrate’s Court where he was granted bail in the sum of EC $100,000.00 with his own recognizance. The conditions of the bail are that the offender is to surrender all travel documents as well as report to The Valley Police Station every Monday between the hours of 6:00 am and 6:00 pm.

His next court date is 28th April, 2016.
