Ms. Jocelyn Johnson, Chief Probation Officer, and Mr. Rolandson Lynch, Senior Probation Officer, paid a visit to the Foundation Judicial Institute (Probation Department) in St. Maarten on Thursday 12th November. This visit was the result of an invitation extended to the Department by Acting Director/Policy Advisor, Mrs. Cynthia van Samson-Filemon. While there Ms. Johnson and Mr. Lynch benefited from a presentation made by Mr. Ryan Clarke, Regional Director of Fennix Global Technologies on the Company’s Electronic Monitoring Program in St. Maarten, the Region and Central America. Additionally, among other topics, discussions also took place regarding partnership development, residential care and the possibility of joint training provisions for both Departments.
Ms. Johnson stated, “This was a worthwhile visit and I look forward to building a professional and mutually beneficial relationship with Mrs. Van Samaon-Filemon and the Foundation Judicial Institutes.”
