Police arrest two for possession of cannabis

Officers of the Royal Anguilla Police Force on Wednesday 28th October, 2015 arrested two males from West End for possession of 281 grams of cannabis.
The arrest of the duo one 24 years and the other 28 years took place during a road block and traffic operation by the RAPF Drug and Firearm Task Force in the South Hill area shortly after 9:00 pm.
Both persons who were charged on Thursday 29th October were later taken before the Magistrate’s Court where they were both granted bail with one surety each. They are both due back in court on Friday 11th December, 2015 at 9:00 am to answer to the charges.
The offenders’ condition of bail is that they are to report to The Valley Police Station every Monday and Friday between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm.
