LIME CELEBRATES 44TH ANNIVERSARY WITH FITNESS EXPO

LIME, the leading telecommunication provider in Anguilla celebrated its 44th Anniversary in Anguilla on October 29th 2015. Through a series of partnerships the company has been focused on partnering with organizations that play a key role in the community through iniatives that benefit the community as a whole.
These partnerships included The Benefit Concert, To Dominica with love, whichwas held earlier this month to raise funds to aid in the Dominica Relief Efforts.
The partnership with the Anguilla Cancer Soceity was extended in LIME’s 3rd year in platinum sponsorship to bring and increase awareness of Breast Cancer for the month of October. A permanent billboard was erected on the Wallblake road, and a successful walkathon, to show support, was held on October 23rd through the Valley area.
As the Anguilla Fire department marked “Fire prevention week” LIME was at the forefront as a sponsor to bring awareness of how Anguillians can prevent fire damage to property and the like.
LIME’s Marketing Manager, Ms Jade Reymond stated “It is truly a pleasure to be able to celebrate longetivity in a community where we were the first in providing our customers with the necessary communication tools to stay in contact with family and friends. As a company who is deep rooted in Anguilla, we took the opportunity to partner with organizations who play a key role in society through great iniatives like Breast Cancer awareness and Fire prevention.The unique opportunity that LIME has as a Company to impact the communities we serve was demonstrated through these initiatives and we are proud to be in the Anguilla Community. We thank them for the opportunity.”

LIME celebrated its anniversary with an open invitation to all its customers to join its staff for their first “LIME Fitness Expo” which was held on Thursday at the Coronation Park in the afternoon. This health iniative was well received among Anguilla, as many persons showed up and enjoyed not only the entertaining music by infamous DJ Suga, but also the vibrant instructions from Cleo from iFitness in Tackling.
