Once again we enjoyed a wonderful weekend ofFestivalDelMar. The entire weekend events were well attend and people came out in huge numbers to have a good time. The main event on Saturday was the most exciting and anticipated event , the Fishing Competition. Fishing tournaments or competition is always fun and excitement as you wait for the boats to return not know what they will catch but you hope to see lots of fish and BIG fish too. Huge crowds gathered on theIslandHarborwharf as the boats returned. Everyone excited and some nervous as the support either one of the main fishermen , Roger or Patrick. This has been growing but freindly rivalry between Patrick and Roger for past years of the Festival. After a nail biting and rowdy weigh in of the fish, for the second consecutive year Patrick has been crowned CHAMPION of the Festival Del Mar fishing Competition!!!!! I would like to Congratulate Patrick and the MV Jet Blue Crew for a job well done and also to all of the other boats and captains that took part and providing us all with good fun and entertainment!!!!
