The current football tournament for the school teams commenced on Friday, October 10, and continues until October 31.

The speakers at the opening ceremony were the Minister of Sports, Mr. Evans McNiel Rogers; the Director of Social Security, Mr. Timothy Hodge; Ms. Allison Hughes, a representative of the Anguilla Football Association; Ms. Marisa Gumbs of the National Bank of Anguilla; and Mrs. Mavis Fleming-Drakes, Principal of the Vivien Vanterpool Primary School.f5f4

The tournament, now in its 27th year, has long been sponsored by the National Bank of Anguilla. As from the past few years, it is being co-sponsored by the Anguilla Social Security Board.
