PRESS RELEASE FROM THE ANGUILLA AMATEUR BODYBUILDING & FITNESS FEDERATION

bb-001AXA Body building and Fitness team represented Anguilla well, at the 5th Annual JC’S Inter Island Bodybuilding, Fitness and Physique Championship in St. Martin on Saturday , June 27th . This keenly contested display of muscles and poise was held at the Casino Royale where top athletes from the Federations of Antigua, Aruba, Barbados, Guadeloupe, St. Lucia, St. Kitts and Nevis ,Trinidad and Tobago, Santo Domingo, St. Maarten, Anguilla and host St. Martin.
The athletes representing Anguilla were Geshaune Clark the reigning Mr. Anguilla, who placed 1st in the Light Middle weight category. MacWhirr Lewis, Mr. Physique Anguilla, took first place in the Men’s Physique– 178CM category, McCiver Peter placed second in the Heavy Weight category. .
The athletes were accompanied by Delegate and IFBB Judge Mr. S. Joseph Pradel from La Severin Gym.
Joe Pradel and his support team wish to congratulate all the athletes, despite the many challenges, who continue to work hard to keep the sport alive and make Anguilla proud. The next scheduled competition is the Central American and Caribbean Championship (CAC), slated for the Bahamas in October 2015 .
