RAPF REPORT: Stoney Ground man arrested for Drugs and Obstruction

The Royal Anguilla Police Force on Saturday 20th June, 2015 at 5:35 pm arrested a 30 year old young man of Stoney Ground for possession of cannabis and obstructing a police officer whilst in the execution of his duty.

ADVERTISEMENT

The alleged offender was at the time the driver of a motor vehicle involved in a traffic accident on the Stoney Ground road when police arrested him for obstruction during the investigation of the accident. Upon searching the alleged offender on his arrival at Valley Police Station the quantity of cannabis was discovered on his person.
The defendant was later charged with the offences and on today’s date, Monday 22nd June, 2015 taken before the Magistrate’s Court where he was granted bail with one surety.
His condition of bail is that he should be of good behaviour and keep the peace.

The offender who is due back in court on the 28th July, 2015was granted bail in the sum of EC $15,000.00.
