RAPF REPORTS: Police arrest two for drug possession

The Royal Anguilla Police Force Friday 19th June, 2015 at 6:25 am arrested two males from Swing High for possession of 30.25grams and 14.34 grams of Cannabis respectively.
The alleged offenders who are 19 years and 41 years respectively were both arrested in a pre-dawn raid on their homes by members of the Criminal Investigation Department and the Drugs and Firearms Task Force assisted by the Canine Unit.

The 41 year old was later charged for the offence of possession of a control drug to wit cannabis and taken before the Magistrate’s Court today Friday 19th June where he was granted bail.
His conditions of bail are; he must surrender all travel documents to the police as well as report to the Valley Police Station every Monday between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm.
The offender who is due back in court on the 17th July, 2015was granted bail in the sum of EC $15,000.00 with one surety.
The other accused man remains in police custody pending further investigation.
