MALLIOUHANA EMPLOYEES AWARDED FOR SECOND QUARTER

Manager John Vasatka with Awardees and Nominees

Twelve employees at Malliouhana, an Auberge Resort, received awards for outstanding performance during the hotel’s second quarterly celebrations on Wednesday 27th May 2015. The awards were presented by General Manager, John Vasatka, in collaboration with Director of Human Resources, Russel Reid.
The winners for Employee of the Quarter were Uldine Webster, Front Office Agent; and Pieter Carter, Purchasing Agent. All the winners were given a cash award, a Certificate of Achievement and a special mug engraved with the Malliouhana Logo and Employee of the Quarter.
The other nominees for Employee of the Quarter included Keith “Tash” Hodge, Bellman; Cleone Rogers, Restaurant Server; Kaydian Hughes, Restaurant Server; Elroy Reid, Houseman; Princess Hyde-Paul, Massage Therapist and Julian Bryan, Landscaper. Beverly Vanterpool, Landscaping Supervisor, was also a nominee for Supervisor of the Quarter. All nominees received a Certificate of Achievement.

The Supervisors of the Quarter were Bernel Carty, Assistant Chief Engineer; Annette Ible, Laundry Manager; and Lydia Paul, Boutique Supervisor. They were each awarded a cash prize, a Certificate and a special mug engraved with the Malliouhana Logo and Supervisor of the Quarter.

The General Manager thanked all the winners and nominees for providing outstanding guest service, demonstrating an attitude of teamwork and for being enthusiastic about their job during the Quarter. Special mention was also made of two winners of the Quarter namely Bernel and Pieter who have been employed at Malliouhana for over twenty years.
