DIGICEL SHARES AN EXTRAORDINARY MOMENT WITH THE DAIHATSU TERIOS WINNER

_BMP3717 d4 d3 d2 d1Tuesday 22nd April 2013 – The Valley, Anguilla: Digicel gave away a brand new SUV to the grand prize winner of the Daihatsu Giveaway promotion.
Maralee Hamilton is counting her blessings after winning the grand prize of Digicel’s brand spanking new Daihatsu Terios. The presentation of the drawing was held on Friday April 17th 2015 at the Market Place, The Valley Anguilla.
Radio personality Abner ‘DJ Hammer’ Brooks broadcasted the presentation LIVE via his radio station Klass Fm 92.9 featuring Digicel’s Marketing Executive Roxanne Webster and spectators.

“We are beyond excited to be able to witness Digicel reward their customers and this time it really went down heavy as the winner is expressing her self with tears of joy. These are real people winning real prizes all thanks to Digicel, the Extraordinary network.” said Abner ‘DJ Hammer’ Brooks owner of Klass FM.
There were four finalist for the drawing of the Daihatsu Terios who each qualified for a shot at the grand prize by, paying their bills in full and on time, signing up for both cable and internet or upgrading a service.

The four finalist competed against each other by selecting the correct key for the SUV. They were asked to select a decorated bowl which was presented on stage for a chance to win. Each bowl had a Daihatsu Terios Key in it however, only one was the winning key! Each finalist selected a number to announce the order in which they would appear and then choose one of four bowls to hand pick one working key to open the Daihatsu Terios. The task was very simple, whom ever’s key opened the car would drive away the winner of the new Daihatsu Terious.

It was a heart racing moment, watching 2 of 4 finalist in their first attempt of opening the SUV. Ms.Maralee Hamilton appeared 3rd and selected her key, she tried to open the door, egger, she inserted the key and it was certainly the key that opened the SUV. As she pulled the door it became an Extraordinary moment as tears of joy filled her eyes; she began to run around the SUV with her hands stretched to the sky as she gave thanks. Ms. Hamilton’s 4 year old son celebrated with her as he was excited to sit in his mother’s brand new vehicle.

“No words can describe how I feel, I can’t believe it, my mother and I have prayed so much for this to happen and I am so thankful!” said Ms. Hamilton.
She celebrated with the Digicel team as they popped a bottle of Champaign and shared a congratulatory toast with Ms. Hamilton as well as the other finalist.
Ms.Hamilton Drove away in her new Daihatsu Terios and other finalist received a consolation prize of EC $100 Credit + EC$500 CASH.
Roxanne Webster Marketing Executive, highlighted the importance of giving back to customers. She said: “Our Daihatsu Giveaway promotion was another way that we continue to give back to our customers and thank them for their continuous support. We believe that our customers should be duly rewarded for their loyalty to us. We also believe in giving our customers value, and that influenced our prizes for this giveaway and all our other promotions”.
