St. Barths Tennis Tournament

ataThe Anguilla Tennis Academy (ATA) is proud to send three of our excelling young tennis players Ella Irish, Kieron Edwards, and Nathan Brooks to compete in the St. Barth’s Tennis Club Tennis Tournament from April 6th to April 10th 2015. The criteria for entry was strict including specific birthdays to create a fair and consistent playing field with 8 year-old boys and girls in separate singles and doubles round robin draws. Ella Irish, Kieron Edwards, and Nathan Brooks are competing against teams from the French speaking islands of Guadelope, Martinique, St. Martin, and St. Barths. Yves Lacoste, Director of the St. Barths Tennis Club, along with the French Tennis Federation are organizing and running this event which promises to be a great event for some of our youngest competitors.

Mitch Lake, CEO of the Anguilla Tennis Academy and Michael Ward, Director of the Anguilla Tennis Academy along with their team are very proud of all of the children they mentor and teach through the ATA’s After School Program. They are excited about many more great opportunities to come in the future that will be made available to other players. The ATA team would also like to thank the sponsors that have made this event possible including Altamer Resort, Nagico Ltd, and the Government of Anguilla.
