One of the aspects of the Annual Inter-House Athletic Competition at the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School has been the Fairplay-NAGICO-sponsored Road Race.

The event was viewed as an attractive spectacle both students and mostly female teachers participated in the activity. Here and there groups of students cheered and encouraged the runners, many of whom completed the race from the Tropical Flower at Sandy Hill to The James Ronald Webster Park area in The Valley.

It was an event which added a number of well-needed points to the competitive scores of the inter-house athletes.
