At a short presentation ceremony at LIME’s Telecoms House on Tuesday, Marketing Manager, Ms Jade Reymond, presented a cheque for EC$8,000 to representatives and organisers of Bankie Banx Moonsplash team, towards the sponsorship of the event.

The representatives were Dr. O. M. Linda Banks, who is involved in the public relations aspect of the work and also has responsibility for the Thursday Kids Splash; Lateef Banks, who gave the line-up of artistes and activities; and Jabari Harrigan, who assisted with information about the event.

LIME’s sponsorship is mainly for the Friday event. Speaking about the company’s involvement, Ms Reymond said: “It is truly a special moment for LIME as we welcome back our sponsorship of Moonsplash which this year will be celebrating its 25th anniversary. It seems such a fitting time to be back on board for such a momentous occasion. LIME has been a sponsor of Moonsplash for quite a number of years, from probably early in its inception; and we were extremely pleased that the Banks’ family were able to reach out to us in reference to their upcoming event; and we are one of the platinum sponsors of this momentous occasion.”

She also expressed LIME’s delight to be the platinum sponsor of Kids Splash, following the Primary Schools’ Sport Day activities. “I am extremely excited about that as we will be able to motivate and inspire our young ones by some of the artistes who will be performing during the Moonsplash weekend,” Ms. Reymond added.
