RAPF REPORTS: Police Uncovers Drug Production And Distribution Operation

SAM_3158 - Copy SAM_3162Members of the Royal Anguilla Police Force Drug and Firearm Taskforce and Criminal Investigation Department Friday 6th March, 2015 arrested a 32 yr. old male and 33 yr. old female of The Forest after executing a search warrant on their premises.

The pre-dawn raid netted twenty-six (26) fully matured cannabis plants of various sizes and varieties. Also seized were several jars of cured cannabis ready for distribution as well a quantity of cured cannabis plants all to an estimated street value of EC $40,000.00.

Both defendants have been charged with cultivation of cannabis, possession of cannabis and possession with intent to supply. The defendants are in custody awaiting an appearance in court.
