Probably unaware to them, three young ladies attracted much attention and admiration at the eight o’clock Sunday morning service at St Mary’s Anglican Parish Church on February 22.

Dressed alike, of similar stature, and bearing themselves with much composure and dignity, the 17-year-old triplets, Stassia, Shaunda and Sharnice Richardson, sat together engrossed in the service.
At the appropriate time, near the conclusion of the service, they left their seats and joined other children at the altar area for blessing by the Rt. Rev. Errol Brooks. What was also striking is that two of them carried a toddler in their arms for the act of blessing.

The girls’ birth and progress continue to be regarded as a blessing not only to their proud parents, Shirley Richardson and Johnno Edwards, but generally to many persons acquainted with them. They had their early education at the Central Christian School at Rey Hill, well-known for its high standards of discipline, tutoring and mentoring.
Today, the three close-knit sisters are Sixth Form students at the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School and have already set their career goals. According to them, they have, and enjoy a great deal of love, unity, friendship and good interpersonal relations among themselves and their outlook on life is a highly positive one.

What would these young ladies, who are obviously excellent role models, say to their peers?

“Always put God first in whatever you do because, without Him, nothing is possible, and stay focused,” they replied in unison.
