The Royal Anguilla Police Force received a report of criminal damage to a political billboard belonging to the DOVE Party.
The Commissioner of Police wishes to advise the general public to desist from becoming involved in such a behavior because damage to anyone’s property is an offence contrary to Section 302 of the Anguilla Criminal Code Chapter 140.

Any persons found committing such damage will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. This sort of behavior can only lead to unnecessary tension and negative publicity for Anguilla.

The Commissioner of Police will also like to take this opportunity to advise all persons erecting billboards to seek the permission of landowners prior to erecting them.
