Dr. Adams began his medical career in 1996 after graduating from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the University of the West Indies in Jamaica. He then worked in Anguilla at the Princess Alexandra Hospital from 1998-2005 before leaving to pursue and complete a family medicine residency at Michigan State University, U.S.A. Until recently, he then worked at different hospitals in Louisiana. According to Dr. Adams “family physicians are medical specialists who provide long-term comprehensive medical care to persons of all ages, male and female. Unlike other specialties which tend to focus on one or a few organ systems, we treat the whole person”.

He is assisted by Nurse Irma Carty, an Anguillian nurse with decades of clinical experience and administrative responsibilities at various institutions including the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Dr. Adams is the son of Calvin and Patricia Adams of the Farrington Anguilla.
