October 15, 2014: The Valley, Anguilla: On Wednesday, 8th October 2014, the Anguilla Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ACOCI) hosted a Business after Hours event sponsored by Anguilla’s leading telecommunications provider Digicel at the LaVue Hotel conference centre in South Hill.

Mrs. Lilly Moses, Administrative assistant of ACOCI, coordinated and hosted the ceremony for the evening.

Mr Keithley F.T. Lake, President of the Chamber opened the proceeding acknowledging that given the point in time of Anguilla’s technological advancement, it was quite fitting for Digicel to host this the Business after Hours event to highlight and advance their position of being a complete business solutions provider, catering for the smallest of businesses to enterprise based companies.

Rochus Schreiber, CEO for Digicel Anguilla in his remarks, echoed the sentiments of the ACOCI president stating, “Digicel Business, the commercial arm of the company has invested millions into the Anguilla market to bring both the GSM and Cable/Broadband arms of the business to international standards, noting that this is still a work in progress which will continue as the demands of our customers increase and as the growing trends internationally evolve.”

Main presenter, Colwayne Pickering of Digicel Business, who is responsible for Business Solutions highlighted a cadre of products and services which every business in Anguilla could benefit, noting that these services creates efficiencies and drive cost down, enabling business to focus on their core operations to increase their profit margins. This is also augmented with a brief presentation by Mobile Advertising specialist, Anuska Reymond, who showcased the newest product portfolio of the Digicel Business; putting the power of direct customer reach in the hands of businesses.

The evening ending with a networking session where attendees were able to have one on one sessions with the Digicel business experts, subscribers were able to get answers to questions related to the network and more. As part of the networking session, one lucky attendee, Ms. Jean Dyer; won a Samsung Galaxy tab 4 Courtesy of Digicel 4G.
