G.M. appeared before the Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, September 27, for a bail hearing. Bail was set at $75,000 with $25,000.00 cash and two sureties. He was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison until September 30 after he failed to make bail.

G.M. was one of three persons arrested during the period September 17-24. The other two, a female and a male, were arrested for immigration purposes and to prevent a breach of the breach of the peace respectively.
Meanwhile, during the above period, there were four burglaries at Island Harbour, Sea Rocks and Deep Waters. The stolen items included a flat screen television, a DVD player, a stereo set and jack hammer.

In addition, there were eight thefts at East End, The Valley, Blowing Point, The Farrington, Shoal Bay, George Hill and Tackling Estate.
Among the items stolen were cellular phones, a media card, foodstuff and money.
