I8 PRE-SCHOOLERS GOING ON TO PRIMARY SCHOOLS

While the primary schools have graduated a number of their students, who will now be attending Campus B of the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School in September, they are being supplied with new pre-school pupils.

The latest of these pre-school children, numbering 18, are coming from the Island Harbour Christian Pre-School which held its graduation ceremony on July 5.They will be attending the Vivien Vanterpool Primary School at Island Harbour and the Morris Vanterpool Primary School at East End and probably other schools as well.

The Island Harbour Christian Pre-School has as its Principal Ms. Sherianne Hodge and three teachers,Avis Michael, Amada Claxton and Eunice Gumbs. The pre-school is overseen by Pastor NorrilGumbs of the First Baptist Church at Welches, where the graduation ceremony was held.

The programme included various songs, skits, poems and recitals from the Bible.

Other pre-schools which are sending pupils to the primary schools in September include the Methodist Church-run centres at Ebenezer, The Valley; Bethel, South Hill; and Maranatha, Blowing Point.
