Dear Sir,

It is great to see that the street from the top of the hill leading to Sandy Ground village has been repainted with a ‘solid white line’. Motorists drive much too fast on that hill and simply cannot seem to stay on their side of the road. A few months ago, I asked the Department responsible for road upkeep if it was possible to repaint this road and was told “plans to do so had been made and the job was on the list”. It did take quite a while but sincere thanks to the Department for upgrading this road, and making it safer for us all to use. (Motorists: please note that a solid white line means no passing).

Thank you.

An Anguillian motorist.
