On the morning of Friday, September 12th, 2014, Campus B’s courtyard came to life as Students, Teaching Staff, Custodians, Security Guards and Office Secretaries participated in a series of structured exercises. Directed by three Physical Education Teachers, the students all engaged in stretches, jumps and running exercises.
Members of staff, clad in their sporting attire, were led in grand style by I-Fitness Gym Instructor, Cleo. Everyone enjoyed participating in the activities and expressed the desire to engage in similar sessions on a weekly basis.
Deputy Principal, Mrs Octavia Melsadis Fleming, appealed to all at the campus to eat healthy meals – especially fresh fruits and vegetables – and drink water throughout the day. She also expressed the importance of maintaining healthy lifestyles that could improve the quality of one’s life thereby preventing certain chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes and hypertension.
At the end of the exercise sessions participating staff members took pleasure in posing with Cleo for a photo shoot.
