WE DESERVE BETTER
Could you tell me who is the Leader, Leader, Leader ? Who is the Leader?
People of Anguilla, are you going to get on board a ship without a captain? Actually that ship is already sinking and off course for almost five years? Would you fly on an airplane without a pilot? Well, maybe you would if you don’t want to reach or go anywhere.
Do you recall what happened to the Italian cruise ship, Costa Concordia, when the captain left the helm? Yes, it capsized. Well, my dear people, that is where Anguilla is heading if you elect a party without a leader. Anguilla will sink further, and end up on the rocks, because allegedly none of the crew is capable of being captain. And allegedly they all want to be just that. The captain. The leader.
Just look at them. Examine their horns closely and you will be totally flabbergasted with what you discover. We deserve better.
Take a look at our Caribbean neighbours and see the quality of leaders they have chosen. Anguilla will be the laughingstock of the Caribbean if we continue to make the retrograde step – if we continue to keep this allegedly idea-less and rudderless party in power.
Anguilllians, in this century, we need a leader who can represent us anywhere in the world without needing someone to hold his hand, take away his phone or to stop him from lying. We need someone who can stand up and deliver sensibly and truthfully at all times.
Mr Editor, can you see any of the present crew being able to step up? No way. They are allegedly an inexperienced, incapable, egotistical, selfish, avaricious, insidious, insufferable bunch!
