The Police reported that nine crimes, which they categorised as “serious”, were committed in Anguilla during the period June 9-16.

The offences included three thefts in The Valley, George Hill and North Side. Among the stolen items were car parts and a barbecue grill.
In addition, five burglaries were committed at Swing High, The Forest, Roaches Hill, Rey Hill and Island Harbour.
The stolen items included an iPhone, jewellery and money.
Seven persons were arrested during the period as follows: Three males to prevent a breach of the peace; one male for discharging a firearm; one male for grievous bodily harm; one male on a default warrant; and one male for indecent assault.
There were six traffic accidents.
