The Royal Anguilla Police Force (RAPF) made several donations from funds raised during Police Week. Inspector Marva Brooks, who chaired Police Week, said that the police were recognising worthy groups and individuals in the community. Presentations were made by Brooks on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Rudolph Proctor.

The first presentation of EC$1500 was to Altamer Richardson, Assistant Principal at theEbenezerPre-School. She thanked the police saying that the money would go towards a much-needed photocopier for the school.

Inspector Brooks presented WISE (Workshop Initiative for Support in Education) with four sewing machines. Gabriele Klaren, Coordinator of WISE, thanked the police – and Janice Elijah, the sewing teacher, added her thanks. Elijah said that when the Commissioner visited the school he was very impressed when he saw the boys sewing boxers, shirts and pants and readily agreed to donate extra sewing machines. The machines are valued at EC$499 each.

The next donation was to the Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive School Debating Team. During Police Week there was a debate organized by PC Gumbs. He said that it was a very good debate and it is hoped to make it an annual event. He presented a cheque for EC$1500 to Quincia Gumbs, President of the Debating Society. In thanking the police she said that an investment in youth is one less crime to investigate.

Police Officer Peter Goodrich sold the most tickets for the raffle of the 2012 Ford Jeep Explorer. He also sold the three winning tickets. Inspector Brooks presented him with a cheque for US$800. He said that the police are fostering relationships with the community and he really enjoys that. He urged the public to continue giving support.

The final donation was to Darlene Goodrich who received US$400 for the assistance she gave the police during Police Week.
