The Anguilla Teachers’ Union is standing in agreement with the Caribbean Union of Teachers and their member units in solidarity as we rally to #bringbackourgirls in Nigeria. Often we see countries around the world going through heartache, but never like this. Schools are supposed to be a safe place for our children. When persons have no regard for our girls and education, that is not single country cry that is a global cry. It is our prayer that these girls will return safely. We are our brothers’ keeper and we must watch and pray for our girls here in Anguilla. During our day of solidarity, Sons of Thunder joined ATU to promote the message. Thanks to the teachers that took part.
