POLICE REPORT SIX THEFTS, TWO BURGLARIES

According to the Police Report for the period May 14 to 21, there were ten offences, described as “serious crimes” committed in Anguilla.
There were six thefts in George Hill, Cauls Bottom, The Valley, Sea Feathers, Island Harbour and Crocus Bay.

The stolen items included building materials, auto parts and an undisclosed sum of money.

Two burglaries were committed in Long Bay and Stoney Ground.
Among the stolen items were foodstuff, jewellery and money.

There were two reports of wounding in Island Harbour and South Hill.

Seven persons were arrested during the period as follows: three males and one female to prevent a breach of the peace; two males for wounding and one male for possession of a firearm.

There were six traffic accidents.
