DSC_2499 DSC_2502 DSC_2504The Anguilla Community College had its fourth offering of the popular Leadership At Every Level course from 9th – 11th April 2014 with a record breaking thirty eight (38) participants from private and public sector entities. This course, as previous courses, was facilitated by Mrs. Melinda Goddard of Clientell Consulting, an advocate of customer satisfaction measurement. Mrs. Goddard also led the initiative for the diagnostics division of a leading healthcare company from 1992 through 1997.
The course is designed to equip participants to take their business to the next level by assessing their leadership capabilities, inspiring coworkers and developing a leadership plan that helps the organization to reach its full potential by distinguishing itself from the competition. The course also revealed the secrets of high performing teams and discussed the benefits of effective teamwork.
Professor Delroy Louden, President of the Anguilla Community College stated
“The number speaks for itself (38). This course is fast becoming a flagship one for those interested in strengthening their organizational skills and enhancing their capacity to lead and manage outcome performance indicators. Our instructor Mrs. Goddard continues to provide hands on, relevant case studies in her presentation to participants.’”
The participants completed the course and felt invigorated to return to their establishments to make a positive difference with their expanded skill set. They expressed rave reviews about the course and the facilitator.
Mrs. Goddard was equally excited about the level of involvement of participants in the course and expressed this view.
“From the educators, to those in hospitality, financial services and communications, and others supporting the public, especially our youth and culture participants, this Leadership class appeared to be totally engaged. While I would like to credit the workshop material, the participants discussed each topic in depth individually and as teams. My thanks to all for their inspiring dedication and collaboration throughout the class.”
