RONALD WEBSTER’S BIRTHDAY PRIVATELY OBSERVED WITH VARIED EVENTS IN ANGUILLA

At his request, there were no official celebrations for the 88th birthday of Anguilla’s Revolutionary Leader, Mr. James Ronald Webster. His birthday was on Sunday, March 2, and was observed by a public holiday the following day, Monday.

However, there were a number of privately-organised events on the island which gave members of the public opportunities to reflect on the purpose of the holiday and to enjoy themselves in a manner of their own choosing.
