The fifteenth Annual Anguilla Beautification Club (ABC) Flower and Garden Show took place at the Wallblake House and grounds on February 22 and 23. The beautiful flower and plant displays were wonderful to admire with bright green leaves, yellow, blue and red flowers – and props like brooms, shells and stones spreaded throughout the different displays. This years theme was: “A garden, Nature’s Remedy for Stress.”

The Anguilla Beautification Club (ABC) began its first Flower and Garden Show in February 1999. Today, the Club wants to get more schools to participate in the beautification of the island and has set goals to beautify the Sandy Ground Cemetery and other areas around the island. The Vivien Vanterpool primary school is the first primary school to start a garden on its grounds.

The Government of Anguilla has made two acres of prime agriculture land, west of the Department of Agriculture, available to the Anguilla Beautification Club for the development of a Botanical Garden.
