Saturday night, February 1, Flavours Restaurant at La Vue Boutique Inn and Conference Centre was the venue for a delightful dinner and ball which climaxed a crowded week of activities in celebration of the 42nd Anniversary of the Royal Anguilla Police Force.
The event is normally a grand occasion and so the locally-owned popular dining-out facility was filled to capacity by guests from across the island as well as a number of visitors.

The guests were welcomed by Sergeant Randolph Yearwood who was the Chairman of the Police Anniversary Celebrations Committee for two years. He was pleased to report that the just-ended celebration was a most successful event, and he gave a great deal of credit to a number of fellow ranks of the Force whose contributions were of much assistance to that end. Those officers, including himself and the Commissioner, were presented with tokens of appreciation for their work.

Much gratitude and appreciation were expressed by guests around the tables for the enjoyable police function and the high standard of service delivered by Mr Kirk Hughes, the proprietor of Flavours Restaurant, and his staff. A significant addition to those kind expressions was the appreciation of the guests for the lively musical entertainment provided by Boss and his Horsepower Band.
