lrbr-3dlogo-whiteOn Wed. Jan. 22nd, 2014, Anguilla will welcome to its tranquil shores, the legendary Blues Cruise – a one-of-a-kind cruise experience featuring the popular Rhythm & Blues Cruise bands, Marquise Knox and Selwyn Birchwood. Approximately 200-250 guests will be on island for a day at the Bankie Banx Dune Preserve located on stunning Rendezvous Bay. Rendezvous Bay is amongst Anguilla’s most impressive big beaches. Long, wide and expansive, with sparkling seas, soft sand and a St. Martin backdrop, this beach soothes the soul.

Bankie’s Band will start the show at noon followed by the 2013 IBC Winners Selwyn Birchwood and closing with St. Louis’ rising Blues star, Marquise Knox. The large smoker will be cooking some of the tastiest food on the island – so take a dip in the crystal clear Caribbean Sea, drink your favorite island libations and soothe your soul with authentic blues and reggae.

This is an Official Excursion designed by Roger Naber & Yvonne Tharpes who, after visiting the amazing beach venue, decided that the Dune Preserve was a perfect fit for the Blues Cruise experience.

Special packages are available at the Dune Preserve for US$50.00, inclusive of lunch and music, or free admission without lunch and regular prices at the bar.
