Kimberly received the cheque for the biggest jackpot in Anguilla’s bingo history from Digicel executives Colwayne Pickering and John Gidharry in front of a record breaking crowd of almost three thousand people.

Ms. Fleming said she is happy about winning the cash and plans to use the money to pay some debts and to have a brighter Christmas.

John Gidharry, Digicel country manager, presented Kimberly with the cheque and said “She’s a true testament of how we change people’s lives with our promotions. Although we’ve had many winners tonight and throughout our Christmas promotion, Kimberly is our biggest cash prize winner this year and we are truly happy for her.”

The Bingo Night, which was supported by the Lions Community Club, was the biggest activity on the club’s calendar this year and the club’s vice president, Derrick Richardson, expressed his gratitude to the public for their overwhelming support as they were able to raise funds which will assist greatly in all their charitable initiatives.

“It is with the unwavering support from the public we are able to give back to our community. So we say a heartfelt thank you to Digicel for giving this opportunity to partner with them to light the Trough and as their Christmas campaign theme suggest, to Brighten Anguillians Christmas. It is only with partners like Digicel we can reach our true potential.”

There were also stellar performances by Digicel brand ambassadors True Intentions band and Exodus HD.

True Intentions drummer and lead vocalist Darius James premiered his new music video “a new day” to a large audience as the video was pleasantly received by them.

After an exciting night of bingo, Exodus HD brought the curtains down on the Christmas promotion by pleasing their fans with a variety of selections from their musical repertoire; it was definitely a historic night for bingo in Anguilla.
