“The St Augustine’s Chorale continues its quest to proclaim the gospel message through song and music as it has done for well over twelve years.” That was the opening sentence of a statement by the Director, Mr Lennox Vanterpool, in writing about the Christmas and New Year programme – “The Night Before Christmas”.
The thrilling performance, dubbed “a musical celebration of the Christmas story,” was first presented on Sunday, December 29, to a capacity and appreciative audience at St Augustine’s Anglican Church. It will be repeated on Sunday, January 5, at 5 pm.

“The Night Before Christmas is a moving musical which ultimately challenges listeners to make a home in their own hearts for God, just like Bethlehem provided a birthplace for the Christ Child over 2000 years ago,” Mr Vanterpool said in a statement to the media.

Those who performed in the St Augustine’s Chorale’s “The Night Before Christmas” were: Evalyn Bradley, Gina Brooks, Avonelle Caragliano, Merlyn Duncan, Angelica Duncan, Annette Duncan, Maureen Duncan, Twana Duncan, Jennifer Gumbs, Samara Gumbs, Sandra Liddie Gumbs, Yolander Gumbs, Sylvene Petty, Iris Richardson, Margaret Augustus, Monique Carty, Althea Hodge, Pansy Richardson, Amelia Vanterpool-Kubisch, Louise Webster, Zulma Webster, Delvin Fleming, Calvin Harrigan, Eversley Browne, Aaron Duncan, Clemvio Hodge, Cordane Richardson and Patrick Vanterpool.
