P1080477 P1080474 P1080475ANGLEC’s 2013 Christmas Promotion Campaign will show a more considerate and understanding electricity company. There will be a spin on this year’s promotions with games like spin the wheel, similar to wheel of fortune, where customers will get the chance to win up to two hundred dollars worth of bill credit or win a turkey or ham for the Christmas season. Customers who have paid their bills will fill out a form and will be notified when it is their turn to spin the wheel. There will be a spin two times a day.
The company will be rolling out Baskets of Cheer containing goodies for senior citizens in homes and nurseries on the island – starting this week – to brighten the Christmas for the elderly especially those who cannot be among family this year.
Additionally, the ANGLEC Serenaders Band led by Steve Hodge, better known as Hodge Shot, will sing songs like Mama Bake Your Johnny Cake and Morning, Good Morning for the community. Acting General Manager, David Gumbs, who will be part of the band remarked on ANGLEC’s new approach: “We are trying to connect with the customer on a more positive spirit. We want customers to look at us now as more fun and more customer focused…There are about fifty entities throughout Anguilla that we have supported all year long. We do a variety of things! We do cultural, we do religious, sports are a big area and education…Most people don’t know that because we don’t put that out in a public relations way. We don’t have a product you can feel. We have a product you use and you don’t even see it. We have to create a little bit more energy or positive spirit about the company, and this is one of the things we are looking to take on this year into next year.”

This year will be the third for the One Dollar Reconnection Program for customers who have challenges paying their bills. In the spirit of Christmas, customers can go to ANGLEC and pay a dollar to reconnect with a follow-up plan to pay in the future. The program started on December first and offers a more joyful Christmas for the less fortunate.
Meanwhile, ANGLEC is a proud sponsor of this year’s Christmas Tree Lighting. This Christmas will be one to remember with ANGLEC’s promotions and will give customers a chance to feel the electricity.
