Basketball

The Anguilla basketball travelled to Antigua to participate in the 2013 L.I.B.A tournament on the 11th December. The team played hard and competed well finishing 3rd in the tournament. Teams who competed were; Antigua, Barbuda, Montserrat, BVI and Anguilla. The team finished with 2 wins and 2 losses, both loses against Antigua and Tortola. Although it was a total team effort the outstanding performers for Anguilla were Rick Browne and Daury Herbert on offence and Javille Brooks showed that he can be impactful on both sides of the court. The team received some positive words from officials and fans for showing that in little Anguilla there is a lot of talent that needs assistance to take it to another level. We want to encourage the team to continue exceeded all their expectations and even more success in the next L.I.B.A tournament.
