Cyclists On Podium

Team Anguilla attended the 2013 O E C S cycling championship race held in St. Lucia on Sunday 17th November 2013 .
Anguilla was represented by three cyclist JUSTIN (crazy legs ) Hodge , BENJAMIN (donga ) PHILLIP , and SHERWIN ( shortman ) OSBORNE .
Competing countries were Anguilla , Antigua , Grenada ,St. Vincent & the grenadines and host country St. Lucia .
The 90 kilos race started at 8.30 am on Sunday with a total (30) cyclists and lasted some 2 hrs & 21 minutes before the actual winner came in winning the Gold medal was ANDRE SIMON (Antigua & Barbuda , Silver medal Kurt Maraj ( St . Lucia ) ,AND THE BRONZE MEDAL ANGUILLA’ S JUSTIN HODGE ( crazy legs)
The A A C A would like to thank Team Anguilla for their great representation and gaining a place on the podium also the supporting staff ., Special thanks to the Commonwealth Games Association and LIAT for their contributions in making the trip possible and to all who helped otherwise . Team Anguilla returned home on Monday afternoon .
Once again well done Team Anguilla .
