Digicel customers rush for scratch cards

Tuesday 19th November 2013 – The Valley, Anguilla: A whopping EC$50,000 in cash and prizes will be given away by Digicel this Christmas in a scratch and win promotion launched lastFriday. The promotion, which will run until 20thDecember, will see hundreds of Digicel customers walking away with daily prizes of EC$1,000, Digicel DL700 smartphones, free credit, free data, free bingo cards, cash off postpaid bills plus much, much more.

To celebrate the launch of the promotion, Digicel invited over 200 customers to its store and for their chance to win some of these fantastic prizes.

Digicel customer, JamarlaHodge-Rey, won EC$1,000 while other customers won free bingo cards, free credit, data and smartphones.
Colwayne Pickering, Operations Manager at Digicel, said he was delighted to see so many customers who responded to the launch invitation.IMG_0128

“It’s a humbling experience to see so many customers that came to celebrate with us, but it’s even more rewardingto see the happy faces of winners. Therefore, I am encouraging everyone to participate in the excitement by simply topping up $25 or more, paying their Digicel bill on time and in full, buying a handset, or activating a service and they will receive a scratch card for their chance to win,” he continued.

“We also have a Bingo Jackpot of EC$14,000 on Bingo Night on December 20th at the Trough and we’re inviting everyone to come and try their luck at winning the grand prize,” he concluded.IMG_0154

Following the launch event in-store, Digicel embarked on a road show taking the news of the promotion into every village on theisland.

For customers who haven’t caught the road show, there are a number of activities planned for over the next few weeks that will see Digicel supporting its communities and spreading the Christmas joy – and Digicel is encouraging everyone to come out in support of these events as follows;
