The Health Authority of Anguifla CHAA”) says farewell to Dr. Kennedy Simmonds who was employed with the HAA from 2002 to October 2013. He served as the Director of Medical Services since 2008. Dr. Simmonds has retired and relocated to his native St. Kitis. Dr. Simmonds has been happy for the opportunity to work with the people of Anguilla. H.E has developed lifelong relationships and looks forward in returning to the island. He believes that the HAA is blessed with great staff and wishes the HAA and people of Anguilla the best.
Dr. Herman Higuera, a Venezuelan national, has been with the HAA as the Obstetrician and Gynecologist since June 2013. Dr. Higuera brings over 10 years of experience to the people of Anguilla as a medical practitioner. He has worked as a medical claims doctor, medical officer for the Ministr of Health in Venezuela and also in private practice. He is a young, vibrant and professional, with a passion tbr serving others, and looks forward to improving the quality of health care being offered to the people of Anguilla.
