Cycling:-

A total of 11 cyclists participated in the 3rd BocaChica cycle race held on Sunday 22ndSeptember 2013. Seven (7) Elite and four (4) Masters cycled about 80km long which included four climbs of Sandy Ground hill. The Masters did two climbs.

The results for the Masters were as follows:
1st MrPapieCarti (SMX)
2nd Stanley Crawford (Anguilla)

The results for the Elite Riders were:
1st Sherwin Osborne(Shortman)
2nd Devaughn Richardson(Baker)
3rd VineshNarine
4th Justin Hodge (Crazy Legs)

Point standingsto date are:
Benjamin Phillip (Donga) 82 points Justin Hodge (Crazy Legs) 63 points
Devaughn Richardson (Baker) 60 points Sherwin (Shortman)
Osborne 45 points
VineshNarine 43 points Kris Pradel 32 points
Joseph Hercules 28 points AkiemSasso 26 points

Windball Cricket:-
The WindballCricket tournament got off to a great start last Sunday 22nd September. The opening ceremony and knockout competition was held at Sandy Ground ball field. A total of 6 teams namely Deadly Force, Point United, Lucians, All Stars, Grassroots and GT Blazers battled for the knockout trophy. In the final encounter Deadly Force batted first and scored 114 runs with a mammoth contribution of 68 runs from Carl (Carlo) Gumbs. Lucians in reply only manage a mere 29 runs. Congratulations to Deadly Force, the 2013 Windball Cricket Knockout Champions.

Games will resume this coming Sunday at the Sandy Ground ball field. The scheduled matches are as follows:
Point United vs. Deadly Force @ 1:30
All-Stars vs. Grassroots @ 3:30

Basketball:-
The LimeBusiness league started last weekend with a total of seven teams participating. Four games were played at the Valley Basketball court. On Friday night, Border defeated Flamers by a score of 52-37 points. Jason Hodge top scored with 22 points and 14 rebounds for Border. In game 2, MICUH defeated Cuisnart by a score 55-45 points. Top scorer for MICUH was Daren Webster with 24 points and 8 rebounds.
Saturday night’s games were not played due to weather conditions. On Sunday Border defeated Viceroy78-35 points. Again, Jason Hodge led the way for Border with 17 points 11 rebounds and 4 assist. In game 2, MICUH defeated DLG by a score of 68-54. Daren Webster top scored with 22 points and 11 rebounds.

Games will continue this weekend at the Valley Basketball court as scheduled below:

The Netball Village League is schedule to begin on Friday 29th September 2013. Four teams will compete for the championship trophy namely Stoney Ground, East, West and Valley.
