The first 2-day “Pledging Excellence with ANGUILLA PRIDE™” seminar for various firms was held on September 5-6, 2013, conducted at the Anguilla Community College campus.

Melinda Goddard, Principal of ClienTell® Consulting, LLC, described the class, saying: “Think of it as a couple of days at the gym or the spa for your service quality. Like eating right and exercise, we usually know what to do but need to be given a refresher to do it right all the time.”

Lawyers, underwriters, paralegals and related financial services team members participated in the workshop. These individuals represented: Alex Richardson & Associates; the Government of Anguilla Commercial Registry; Keithley Lake & Associates; NAGICO Insurance (Saint Martin/Sint Maarten); Stafford Corporate Services; WEBSTER (Anguilla and Nevis); and Shernika Connor, Deputy CEO of Anguilla Finance attended in support of the Service Level Pledge Programme developed for Anguilla Finance and the industry in collaboration with ClienTell Consulting.

With the financial services industry accounting for about 20% of the Anguilla economy, further developing this sector can provide professional growth opportunities and stability for Anguilla. Ensuring the best service also complements the “high end” hospitality sector welcoming affluent individuals from around the world. Anguilla Finance Limited Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Steve Garlick, spoke briefly on the second day of the workshop and reiterated the importance of service excellence in shaping the reputation of the entire Jurisdiction with every client contact.
