Expect to be inspired, motivated and encouraged as you listen to the latest musical project by popular Caribbean gospel artist Susan Best!
“A Voice…Susan Best”, was released in August 2013 and features eleven (11) golden compositions that could only be described as her best to date. With musical arrangements ranging from reggae to soca and ballads, all of the tracks are destined to be chart toppers, especially Breakthrough, Speak Life and Live, God You’re All Good, A Place Called Worship and High and Exalted One.
Best, who was born in Grenada and raised in the British Virgin Islands, now resides with her family in Anguilla.
As a Preacher’s Kid, she began singing at the early age of 7 and spiraled to the top of the gospel music scene in the mid 1990’s when she collaborated with the group Unique Touch, a group of young men in Anguilla who played music with her husband, Curtis Richardson. They collaborated on two albums, which featured hits such as Possess Eternity, Sweet, Get it Right, No Time for Second Best and I Believe in You.
With six (6) solo recordings since then to her credit, Susan has infiltrated the hearts of many in the Caribbean and throughout the world as an anointed singer/songwriter, a powerful worshipper and a dynamic producer. Radio announcers, gospel music aficionados and others, have among their favourites of her songs – I Find My Strength in You, God is Always There and Rest in Me.
“The lyrics of my songs aren’t just mere words being sung to good music, but some are derived from encounters with God and others from life’s many painful experiences,” Susan says. “This latest project comes from a deep place of worship and gratitude to God for His mercies towards me and I pray that it will be a blessing to you as well.”
Susan Best has a passion for God and endeavors to share it with everyone she ministers to, whether on stage or in one-on-one conversations. Her ministry has taken her to places like South Africa, the United States of America, and many Caribbean islands. She has been blessed to lead worship at conferences such as Aglow International (Caribbean and International) and Sister to Sister in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Her latest recording – “A Voice…Susan Best”, is available online and at music stores.
