“ANGUILLA IS AWAKENING”

Congratulations Anguilla upon awakening to the opportunities of our “greatest unexploited national asset”… “Intellectual Property Arbitrage!”

Since the signing of international treaties with many other countries, new ways of doing business, financing and creating jobs are emerging. The new treaties put Anguilla on an even better footing than older Barbados treaties which have attracted US$38 billion in inbound capital to that competitive country.

Our new unique “Certificate of Intellectual Property Residence” means patents, copyrights, trademarks, etc. can easily locate in Anguilla to take advantage of our zero tax.
Scientific Research & Experimental Development grants and FP/7 government grants are now available to Anguilla-based businesses.

Inventors are beginning to look at Anguilla as an ideal test, modeling and pilot platform for their new creations.

All of the above is supportive of new industries, new jobs and new global roles for Anguilla as well as the early domestic use of these technology revolutions in info, bio, socio/cogno, robo, nano and energy fields.

For example, preliminary discussions are underway for Anguilla to become a model for crime-free security using existing mobile technology… becoming an international “safe haven” for residents and tourists alike … and a model for other communities and countries to copy!

Other technology developments have either already started or are in the planning stages. They include – search engine marketing tools; animated movie production; new social networks, computer game development, green energy technologies, medical ontology matching engines, identity bar codes, and many more.

Just as Anguilla has led the way internationally with the world’s first “ACORN” online registry; the first ever national census using hand-held computers; disaster management and certified storm-readiness…so will be the case in other areas of excellence and international recognition.

Anguilla-Counts is an non-profit organization to promote these new industries and technologies. We will be launching a series of seminars on related subjects in the fall. If you are not familiar with our “greatest unexploited national asset” … watch http://www.anguilla-counts.ai for more information.
