The sessions began with an introduction by Merlyn Rogers, Marketing Director of the ATB. She explained that the purpose of the seminar was to highlight and bring increased awareness of the richness of Anguilla life beyond its beaches. Assisting Mrs. Rogers was Gina Brooks, Deputy Director of Product Development. Both ATB employees conducted a series of presentations which were then followed by a tour of the island. Topics such as The Anguilla Experience, product update and access, infrastructural improvements, attractions and activities, festivals, and product attributes were discussed. The tour stopped at places such as Koal Keel, Alak Art Studio, Art Café, Tomac Plaza, Rum Factory, Teck Spirit of Asia, In Spire, Temenos Golf Course, Le Petit Gift Shop, Cheddie’s and Something Special. The tour ended with a lunch at Smokey’s at the Cove.

Mrs. Rogers stressed that workshops are necessary for Anguilla to stay on top of the tourism industry and the Anguilla Tourist Board is committed to improving the overall product
