POLICE REPORT 7 CRIMES: JULY 10-17

The Police reported that seven crimes were committed in Anguilla during the period July 10-17.

Of that number, there were three thefts at Corito, Blowing Point and the Long Path.The stolen property included a BlackBerry cellular phone, money and a number of goats.
Four burglaries were committed at Stoney Ground, Sea Feathers, The Farrington and Long Bay.Among the stolen property were supplies of wine and beer, frozen meats, jewellery, a BlackBerry phone, an I-pod and an I-phone.
Four persons were arrested during the above period as follows: one male and one female – both for theft – and two males to prevent a breach of the peace.

On Friday, July 12, the Police destroyed (by fire) 2,703 cannabis plants that were confiscated during the period February 28, 2012 to July 11, 2013.
