On Saturday, 28th November, 2020, the East End Community Club held its 11th annual gospel fundraiser concert entitled “A Night of Bliss” at the St. Augustine’s Church, East End.
The Club continues its efforts to assist our medical and educational facilities throughout the island.
The proceeds from this year’s fundraiser were earmarked for the Juvenile Residential Centre (Zenaida Haven) and the James Ronald Webster Early Childhood Development Centre.
On Monday, 14th December, 2020, Ms. Jocelyn Johnson, Chief Probation Officer at the Department of Probation, and Ms. Yoshida Gumbs, Supervisor Zenaida Haven, were presented with a cheque by Mr. Owen Mussington, President of the Club for the amount of EC$1,200.00; and Ms. Itasha Webster, owner of the James Ronald Webster Early Childhood Development Centre, was also presented with a cheque for the amount of EC$1,200.00, by Ms. Stacie Ruan, organiser of the fundraiser.
The Club takes this opportunity to thank the St. Augustine’s Anglican Church for its continued support of the Club, the participants, Master of Ceremony (Mr. Ricardo Jeremiah), ticket sellers and avid supporters.
