The auspicious event took place on Wednesday November 19th, 2014 at the University’s Awards Ceremonies for 2014 held at the Cathedral and Abbey Church in St. Albans.

Ms. Hodge is the daughter of Kenneth and Marilyn Hodge of the Farrington, Anguilla, both of whom were present at the graduation ceremony.
Her three year course of study follows the successful completion of sixth form studies at the Cathay’s High School in Cardiff Wales.

Ms. Hodge has expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation to her tutors at the University Hertfordshire and the Cathay’s Secondary School as well as the many teachers who taught her at the former Woodbine Pre-School, the Valley Primary School and the Albena Lake-Hodge Comprehensive School. She sees her success as their success as well.

She is also grateful to her parents, siblings and extended family, in particular her grandfather Mr. Joseph Hodge, for their love and support over the past years.

Ms. Hodge expects to take up employment at the Luton and Dunstable University Hospital in Luton, UK, early in the new year. The hospital has been in existence since 1939 and services over 200,000 patients with a staff of over 3,000 and a volunteer base of some 400 persons.
